Solana Prediction Markets in 2026: Teams, Jobs and Money
Kalshi and Polymarket now trade on Solana via Jupiter and DFlow. See who is building prediction markets, who is hiring and what investors should watch.

Prediction markets were one of the loudest stories in finance last year. In 2026 a lot of that action quietly moved onto Solana rails. You can now buy a "yes" or "no" on a real-world event from a Solana wallet, hold it as a token, and cash out in stablecoins.
That matters if you want a job in crypto or you invest in it. A new product category means new teams, new roles and new places for money to flow. It also means plenty of hype, so let's look at what's real.
What changed: Kalshi and Polymarket came to Solana
On 1 December 2025, Kalshi announced that tokenized prediction markets were live on Solana through Jupiter and DFlow. Kalshi is the US exchange regulated by the CFTC, and positions on Solana are real SPL tokens, not IOUs. Kalshi also opened more than $2 million in builder grants.
Then in February 2026, Jupiter brought Polymarket markets to Solana as well, and put its Prediction API into beta. Any app can now list events, take orders and pay out winners without building an exchange from scratch.
Put simply, the two biggest prediction market liquidity pools in the world are now a few API calls away for any Solana developer. That's a big deal for builders.
The teams doing the work
Jupiter
Jupiter is the main storefront. Its prediction product pulls in both Kalshi and Polymarket markets, and winners claim payouts in JupUSD. A public Dune dashboard shows Jupiter Predict doing roughly $12,000 to $138,000 a day in late August. That's modest next to Polymarket itself, but it's steady, and it sits inside an app millions of people already use.
DFlow
DFlow built the plumbing that turns Kalshi contracts into Solana tokens. Its trick is a system it calls Concurrent Liquidity Programs: you post a trade on-chain and market makers fill it. Early growth was fast. SolanaFloor reported more than $22.4 million of DFlow volume by mid-January, with over 98% routed through Phantom.
Here's the realistic bit. DefiLlama's DFlow tracker shows its deposits peaking at $2.23 million in March and falling below $1,000 by October. Distribution through one big wallet can switch on fast and switch off just as fast. If you're investing, watch who owns the user, not just who owns the tech.
World and the Solana-native newcomers
The most interesting growth right now is native. World, a Solana prediction market tracked since July 2026, did about $12.7 million of volume in the 30 days to 20 October and more than $60 million in total, per DefiLlama. Its deposits roughly doubled between the end of August and mid-October.
Older players are a reminder that being first isn't enough. Hedgehog Markets launched Solana's first prediction market back in 2021, but DefiLlama now shows about $46,000 in deposits and no recent volume.
Where the money is going
Investors are still writing cheques for this space, mostly into infrastructure and liquidity rather than new betting front ends.
- Pumpcade has raised $6 million from backers including Pump.fun, Jump Crypto and Foundation Capital, according to Blockster. Its free-to-play Cade Cup, sponsored by the Solana Foundation, launched on 4 July. Its own site says real-money markets are paused and open beta is still to come, so it's one to watch rather than one to count yet.
- Raven, a trading firm that provides liquidity on more than 10 prediction venues including Kalshi and Polymarket, raised a strategic round from CMCC Global and Coinbase Ventures at a $90 million pre-money valuation on 3 October.
- Furnace came out of stealth on 13 October with a $3.5 million seed led by North Island Ventures, with VanEck Ventures joining, to build reference data for prediction contracts.
My read: the smart money is backing the picks and shovels. Market makers, data and settlement are where durable businesses get built, whatever happens to any single app.
The jobs: who is hiring
This is a young field, which is great news for career changers. Nobody has ten years of experience in tokenized event contracts.
Some real examples from this month:
- Proto, building tradable markets on themes like AI capex and data centre growth, is hiring a founding engineer with an estimated $140k to $180k package. Its private mainnet beta is set for Solana this fall, and the team says it comes from Phantom.
- Raven is hiring quant traders for crypto and sports prediction markets in Milan and Sofia.
- Time Seventeen posted a senior prediction market engineer role in San Francisco or Hong Kong on 12 October.
The skills that keep showing up are clear. Rust and Anchor for Solana programs. Trading systems, risk and settlement. Market data pipelines. And on the product side, people who understand sports, politics and finance well enough to design fair markets with clean rules.
Practical advice
For job seekers. Build something small with the Jupiter or DFlow API. A weather dashboard, a sports odds bot, or an AI agent that reads markets is a strong portfolio piece. QuickNode's DFlow guide is a good place to start. Kalshi's Builder Codes also let apps earn a share of fees, so a side project can make real money.
For builders. Keep an eye on Superteam and Colosseum for grants and hackathon tracks. The Kalshi grant listing on Superteam Earn is closed for now, but programmes like this come back.
For investors. Ask three questions. Who controls distribution? Where does the liquidity come from? What happens with regulation in your users' countries? Volume that comes from one wallet partnership or one big event can vanish quickly, as DFlow's numbers show.
Rules on prediction markets differ a lot by country, so check what's allowed where you live before you trade or build for users.
The bottom line
Prediction markets on Solana are early, a bit bumpy and genuinely exciting. The rails are built, the big liquidity pools are plugged in, and serious investors are funding the infrastructure. Volumes are still small next to the giants, which is exactly why this is a good moment to get in as a builder or early hire.
