Solana Launchpads in 2026: Teams, Jobs and Real Revenue
Pump.fun, Bags and Meteora are turning Solana token launches into real revenue and well-paid jobs. Here's who is hiring, what pays and what to watch.

Say "memecoin launchpad" to most career people and they roll their eyes. I get it. But look past the frogs and the cats for a second, because the businesses behind Solana's launchpads are some of the most profitable, best-paying and fastest-moving teams in crypto right now.
This is not a post telling you to buy a coin. It's about the companies, the money they make, the jobs they're hiring for, and how to think about them as a career move or an investment signal.
Why launchpads matter in 2026
A launchpad lets anyone create a token in seconds and trade it on a bonding curve until it "graduates" to a normal trading pool. Every trade pays a small fee. Multiply that by hundreds of thousands of traders a day and you get a serious business.
On Solana, this category has turned into a real industry with three layers:
- Consumer apps where people launch and trade, like Pump.fun and Bags.
- Infrastructure that other launchpads build on, like Meteora and its Dynamic Bonding Curve.
- Social and creator products layered on top, like Believe.
You can browse the whole group in our Memes & Launchpads category.
Pump.fun: still the giant, and paying like one
Pump.fun is still the default. Jupiter data shown on the launchpad tracker Supa puts it at roughly 86% of Solana launchpad volume.
The money is real. Public DefiLlama data, summarised by Memecoiny, shows about $45.5 million in Pump.fun revenue in the 30 days to 21 October 2026, up 37% on the month before. Its own PUMP token page shows it spending around $900,000 a day buying back and burning PUMP, roughly half of daily revenue.
Now the part job seekers should care about. Baton Corporation, the company that builds Pump.fun, has 10 open roles on its careers board, all full-time and on-site in New York. The pay is eye-watering:
- Senior Staff Full Stack Engineer: $500k to $1.5m
- Machine Learning Engineer: $400k to $600k
- Staff Frontend Engineer: $400k to $500k
- Staff Solana Program Engineer: $300k to $500k
- Legal Associate: $225k to $275k plus bonus
Co-founder Alon also said in late September that the team is hiring a support lead for its trading terminal plus junior support roles. That's a genuine way in for people without an engineering background.
My take
These are not easy jobs. The ads are blunt about long hours, in-person work and a very fast pace. But if you want to learn how a consumer crypto product scales to hundreds of thousands of users, there are few better classrooms in the industry.
Bags: the creator-first challenger
Bags is the clearest number two. Its pitch is different: creators earn 1% of every trade on their token, and that fee can be split across up to 100 creators, apps or wallets. Its homepage reports $4.66 billion in volume and $46.62 million paid to creators.
Bags has been busy in 2026:
- In March it announced a $4 million developer fund, with $1 million for a global hackathon and $3 million to back winning teams. Solana, Helius, Meteora, Privy, DFlow and Birdeye joined as mentors and judges.
- In April it switched on TikTok fee sharing, so a coin can route fees to a TikTok creator using just their username.
It's hiring too. The Bags careers board lists 11 roles in New York, including a Staff Solana Program Engineer, a Reinforcement Learning Engineer, a Staff Data Engineer, React Native engineers, a Growth Marketing Lead and a Chief Legal Officer.
That last one is telling. When a launchpad hires a CLO, it's planning to be around for a long time and to play by the rules while it grows.
Meteora: the picks-and-shovels play
Not every launchpad builds its own engine. Meteora offers a Dynamic Bonding Curve that other platforms plug into. Blockworks' launchpad data notes that Believe and the newer version of Moonshot run on Meteora's tech.
This is the boring-but-brilliant layer. When any launchpad on top of it does well, Meteora earns. If you're an engineer who likes protocol work more than consumer hype, infrastructure teams like this are worth a close look.
Jupiter Studio is another example of a big Solana player offering launch tools to projects rather than chasing memes.
A lesson from LetsBonk
Here's the realistic bit. LetsBonk.fun held roughly half of Solana launches in July 2025. Today it trails well behind Pump.fun.
Leadership in this space can flip in months. That's a warning for investors and a useful lens for job seekers: look for teams with real revenue, a product people come back to, and the discipline to keep shipping when the hype cools.
What investors should watch
If you follow this space as an investor, I'd keep an eye on four things:
- Revenue trend, not price. DefiLlama makes fees and revenue public. Rising revenue in a quiet market says more than a pumping chart.
- Buybacks. Pump.fun's daily buy-and-burn is visible on-chain. Watch whether it holds as a share of revenue.
- Creator economics. Bags is betting that paying creators wins long term. Watch creator earnings and new app integrations.
- Regulatory hiring. Legal and compliance roles are a sign of a team building to last.
None of this is financial advice. Token launches are high risk, and most new coins go to zero. The teams building the rails are a different story from the coins themselves.
How to get hired at a launchpad
My practical advice:
- Engineers: learn Solana programs in Rust and get comfortable with real-time systems. Ship something with the Bags API or Meteora's tools so you have proof, not just a CV.
- Growth and content people: these teams live on X and TikTok. Show campaigns you ran and the numbers behind them.
- Support and ops: don't overlook support roles. They put you close to users and product, and they're a real door in.
- Everyone: use the product. Launch a test token with a small amount, read the fee docs, and come to the interview with opinions.
