Solana Jobs Without Code in 2026: Marketing, BD and Legal
Solana is hiring far beyond developers. Real roles and pay in marketing, sales, legal, compliance, ops and design, plus how to land one in 2026.

Here's something most people get wrong about Solana careers. They think every job is for a Rust developer. It isn't.
I went through the official Solana jobs board on 5 November 2026. It listed 449 open roles across the ecosystem. A big share of them are for marketers, sellers, lawyers, designers, operators and community people. Plenty pay as well as engineering.
So if you've been watching Solana from the sidelines because you "don't code", this one is for you.
Why non-technical hiring is picking up now
The reason is simple. Solana teams are growing up. The products work. Now they need to be sold, explained, made legal and kept running.
You can see it at the top. In September the Solana Foundation hired Rachel Conlan, formerly Binance's global chief marketing officer, as chief strategy officer, and Jamal Raees, from Polygon Labs, as general manager of payments. Both roles are about winning banks, asset managers and payment companies. That is commercial work, not code.
The same pattern shows up all the way down. When a team moves from "it works" to "people pay for it", the next hires are usually growth, sales, compliance and support.
Marketing and growth: the busiest lane
A keyword search for "marketing" on the board brings up 114 listings. Not all of them are marketing jobs, but a lot are, and the pay is real.
- Kamino is hiring a Product Marketing Lead in New York at $180,000 to $230,000, plus a VP of Growth at $275,000 to $325,000.
- Crossmint lists a Senior Product Marketing Manager in the US at $170,000 to $200,000.
- Rain wants two product marketers in New York, one for cards and one for money movement.
- The Solana Foundation is hiring an Institutional Growth Marketing Lead in New York and a New Media Manager for social and community growth, open to the US, Europe or remote.
- Solflare has an SEO Specialist role, remote from Croatia or Serbia.
My take: product marketing is the sweet spot. Teams want people who can take something complex, like a lending vault or a stablecoin card, and explain why a normal person should care. If you can do that in plain English, you're valuable.
Business development and sales
"Business development" returns 72 listings. This is where people with a sales or partnerships background can move fast.
- Squads is hiring a Business Development Representative at $120,000 to $150,000, remote across Europe or North America.
- Kamino lists a Senior Business Development role at $160,000 to $220,000 and a Head of Business Development, both in New York.
- Ondo Finance wants a Director of Business Development for Latin America, remote.
- Phantom is hiring a Head of Business and Corporate Development.
- KAST has an Account Executive role for KAST Business in New York.
- Blockworks lists a Business Development Representative at $60,000 to $70,000, a realistic entry point, and a VP of Sales at $350,000 to $400,000 at the other end.
That spread tells you something. There is room to start junior and room to grow into very senior roles, inside the same companies.
Legal, compliance and operations
This is the quiet growth area, and I think it's the most underrated.
As Solana money apps move into cards, payments and tokenized stocks, regulators pay attention. Teams need people who know the rules.
- fomo is hiring a Senior Commercial and Corporate Counsel in New York at $225,000 to $275,000.
- Baton Corporation, the company behind Pump.fun, lists a Legal Associate at $225,000 to $275,000 plus bonus.
- KAST wants a Senior Legal Counsel (Regulatory) in London.
- Sphere is hiring a Head of Compliance Operations and Financial Crimes at $180,000 to $220,000.
- Ondo has compliance roles in monitoring and investigations, both remote.
Operations is just as busy. Coinflow is hiring a Product Operations and Strategy Associate in Chicago at $85,000 to $120,000, and an Operations Support Analyst at $70,000 to $100,000. Rain lists a Senior Product Operations Manager at $90,000 to $133,000 and an AI Operations Lead at $147,700 to $200,000. That last one is a sign of where things are heading: running a company with AI tools is becoming a job in itself.
Design, people and community
Design is in demand too. Ellipsis Labs, the team behind Phoenix, is hiring a Senior Visual Designer in New York at $170,000 to $225,000. fomo has a Staff Product Designer at $250,000 to $315,000. Kamino wants a Brand and Motion Designer at $100,000 to $150,000, remote or New York.
Good news for Australians: Magic Eden is hiring a global People Operations Lead, listed for Australia and remote.
Community roles exist, but be realistic. Orca lists a remote Community Support Associate at $10,000 to $20,000. Entry-level community work often pays like a side gig. Treat it as a foot in the door, not the destination.
The honest catch
A few things to keep in mind.
New York dominates. Many of the best-paid roles are in New York. Remote roles exist, but the top salaries often want you in the room.
Crypto knowledge still matters. You don't need to code, but you do need to use the products. A marketer who has never held a stablecoin or used a wallet will lose out to one who has.
Small teams move fast and cut fast. Seed-stage teams can hire you in a week and change direction in a month. Ask about runway and revenue in the interview. It's a fair question.
How to land one of these roles
Here's what I'd actually do.
- Use the products this week. Open a wallet, try a payment card, deposit into a lending vault. Write down what confused you. That list is your interview material.
- Do one public piece of work. Write a teardown of a team's onboarding, or a short marketing plan for a product you like. Bounties on Superteam Earn are a good way to get paid for this and get noticed.
- Target teams with revenue. Look at Payments and DeFi teams that are clearly making money. They're the ones hiring commercial people.
- Bring your old industry with you. A compliance officer from a bank, a lawyer from a broker or a salesperson from fintech is exactly who these teams want. Lead with that.
- Show up. Breakpoint runs 15 to 17 November in London. Founders hire people they've met.
For investors
Watch what teams hire, not just what they announce. When a protocol starts hiring compliance, legal and enterprise sales, it's usually getting ready for bigger, regulated customers. That's often an earlier signal than any press release.
