Solana Breakpoint 2026 London: Teams, Jobs and Side Events
Breakpoint 2026 hits London on 15-17 November. See who is speaking, which side events matter, and how job seekers and investors can make the week count.

Breakpoint lands in London on 15 to 17 November, and it's the first time Solana's big annual conference has come to the UK. The Solana Foundation expects more than 8,000 people from over 100 countries at Olympia London.
Here's my take: if you're looking for a job, hunting for your next investment, or trying to grow a team, this is the most useful week of the Solana year. But most of the value won't come from the main stage. It'll come from the hallways, the side events and the coffee you book in advance.
Why London, and why it matters
The theme this year is the "Token Supercycle". Day one covers what's already live: stablecoins, payments, tokenised real-world assets and the big economic forces behind them. Day two looks ahead to AI agents, prediction markets, consumer apps and new kinds of ownership.
London was a deliberate pick. The Foundation describes it as the place where global money gets "accumulated, structured, legitimized, and redeployed", home to family offices, sovereign funds, hedge funds and private credit. That tells you who they want in the room.
The second wave of speakers backs that up. Revolut chair Martin Gilbert, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson and former Chancellor Sajid Javid share the bill with leaders from Zelle, Mastercard, Barclays, DTCC, BNY, Bitwise, Payoneer, Ramp and Y Combinator. The first lineup added MoneyGram's CEO and Bridge's Zach Abrams.
For job seekers, that's a strong signal. When banks, payment giants and market infrastructure firms show up to talk, they're usually building teams behind the scenes too.
The Solana teams to watch on stage
The builder side of the lineup reads like a who's who of teams that are growing right now:
- Trading and markets: Kash Dhanda, COO of Jupiter, Eugene Chen of Phoenix and Se Yong Park, co-founder of fomo.
- Tokenised assets: Armani Ferrante of Backpack and Saeed Badreg of Sunrise, speaking alongside DTCC and BNY.
- The network itself: Brennan Watt of Anza, Mert Mumtaz of Helius and Vibhu Norby of the Solana Foundation.
- Payments: Rowland Berry, VP of Stablecoin at Payoneer, plus Zelle and Mastercard.
My advice: don't just watch these talks. Read each team's page before you go, know what they've shipped this year, and have one sharp question ready. A good question asked at the right moment after a session beats a hundred LinkedIn messages.
The side events are where careers get made
Breakpoint is three days, but the week is much bigger. La Familia counted more than 70 side events running from 1 to 18 November. Monday 16 November is the busiest day with 24 events, and Sunday has 17. The full list lives on the community events calendar.
A few stand out for builders, job seekers and investors:
Before the conference
- Solana Hacker House London runs from 1 to 12 November at Somerset House. It's already underway, so if you're in London, apply now.
- CodeCup: AI x Solana Builder Arena runs from 8 to 17 November for developers keen to build with AI.
- Solana Demo Day London on 12 November closes the Hacker House. The Solana Foundation and Superteam UK host it, and it's streamed for anyone who can't get there. Presenting applications are open, and teams not already presenting at Breakpoint or Scale or Die get priority.
The run-up weekend
- 200ms by Jito on 13 November is selective, with priority for builders, core developers and traders. If you work in infrastructure or trading, it's one of the best rooms of the week.
- Solana Intelligence Summit on 13 November covers AI. It's invite-only and has a waitlist, so join it today.
- Founder x VC Summit and Demo Day on 14 November, run by BackersStage, promises time with 50 or more active VCs and 10 startups pitching for five minutes each.
During the conference
- Colosseum Builder Zone on 16 and 17 November is free. You can meet the Colosseum team and founders from its accelerator. If you're an early founder or want to join an early-stage team, this is the place to be.
A practical game plan for job seekers
Conferences reward people who plan. Here's what I'd do:
- Pick five teams, not fifty. Choose teams that are hiring for your skills. Browse the Solana Teams jobs board and the Payments, DeFi and Infrastructure categories to shortlist them.
- Book meetings this week. Most people message after the event, and by then everyone is tired and buried. Message now with a short note, a link to your work and a clear ask for 15 minutes.
- Show, don't tell. A small project, a thread breaking down a protocol, or a pull request beats a CV. The Hacker House and Builder Arena exist for exactly this.
- Go where it's smaller. A 40-person dinner gets you more real conversations than a 2,000-seat keynote.
- Follow up within 48 hours, and remind them of something specific you talked about.
If you're in the UK, look at Superteam UK too. Its "Build for Breakpoint" track offered $5,000 to the top three British founders and a seat at a pre-Breakpoint demo dinner with funds. Programs like that are a good sign of how much local support is building.
What investors should listen for
The lineup tells you where the money is heading: stablecoins, payments, tokenised stocks and funds, and the systems that settle them. When DTCC, BNY, Mastercard and Barclays share a stage with Backpack and Jupiter, the old "crypto versus banks" story is fading.
Listen for real numbers, though, not just big names. Ask which teams have revenue, which have real users outside trading, and who is hiring compliance, partnerships and enterprise sales staff. That last one is often the clearest sign that a team is turning interest into contracts.
Be realistic too. A big-name speaker doesn't mean a big deal is coming. Treat Breakpoint as a week to gather signals, not a reason to buy a token on hype.
What to do next
Breakpoint week is the best chance this year to meet the teams building on Solana face to face. Pick your teams, book your side events and turn up with something to show.
